Hi, and it’s with great pleasure that I welcome you to Telford Dads!

My name is Gordy Rudge, and I’m the Dad Coordinator here at Telford Dads. My role is to support fathers across Telford, helping dads feel heard, build confidence, connect with other fathers, and access the support and opportunities available to them.

We offer a wide range of activities and support to suit different dads and their individual needs. This includes weekly one-to-one sessions with myself, currently held at Park Lane, with plans to introduce additional venues across Telford in the near future. These sessions provide a welcoming and flexible space for dads to talk through any concerns, discuss challenges, or simply enjoy a friendly conversation.

We also run our weekly Dad Groups and Forum, where fathers can come together, meet other dads, share experiences, and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our groups are shaped by the fathers who attend, giving everyone the opportunity to have their say and vote on the activities they would like to take part in the following week.

Alongside our weekly sessions, we offer a variety of monthly activities, including free swimming sessions for your children, our Young Fathers Club, and our SEND Café, which provides an opportunity for fathers of children with special educational needs and disabilities to connect, share experiences, and access support. We also host monthly Glow Bambino sessions at Park Lane, providing another opportunity for dads to get involved in activities and spend quality time with their little ones.
